TV Priest press shoot

Praise the Lord! TV Priest Are Touring

Following the release of their brilliant debut LP UppersTV Priest will be heading off for a tour around the UK this Autumn.

Childhood mates, Charlie Drinkwater (vocals), Alex Sprogis (guitar), Nic Bueth (bass and keys) and Ed Kelland (drums), made music together as teens before drifting apart. Thankfully, they got back together in 2019 and TV Priest was borne from a need to create music together again having gained some real-life experience in the in-between days.

Mechanical punk is perhaps the best description of TV Priest’s sound, while Charlie’s vocals preach to us, trying to make sense of this increasingly crazy world. Yeah, we may all be doomed, but Charlie’s clever wit will certainly help get us through.

While we’re waiting for the tour, check out this brilliant three-song set the band did for The Current which aired on 1st March 2021. The tracks are “Decoration”, “This Island” and “Runner Up”. If this doesn’t get you excited for the return of live music, then nothing will. Come get converted.
