Health Collaborate With Nine Inch Nails On ‘Isn’t Everyone’

At last, the collaboration we’ve all been waiting for: HEALTH have teamed up with Nine Inch Nails for the first time on their new single “Isn’t Everyone,” out now via Loma Vista Recordings.

Dynamic, pulsating, and haunting, “Isn’t Everyone” was produced by HEALTH and Nine Inch Nails, and mixed by Atticus Ross. “It’s fucking Nine Inch Nails. That speaks for itself. You don’t need a clever quote to encapsulate it,” says HEALTH.

“Isn’t Everyone” is HEALTH’s first new release since their 2020 LP DISCO4 :: PART I, an album that collated all of the collaborations the LA-based band has released since 2017, featuring the likes of 100 gecs, JPEGMAFIA, Soccer Mommy, Full of Hell, Ghostemane, and more. DISCO4 :: PART I followed HEALTH’s acclaimed 2019 album, VOL. 4 :: SLAVES OF FEAR (Loma Vista Recordings), and their second video game score for Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto Online: Arena War Official Soundtrack.

These are heavy times. You can feel a deep anxiety about the future seeping into every genre of music. For a while, drugs or dancing or escapism could keep it at bay. That’s not enough anymore. Few artists were better prepared to confront the confusion of life in 2020. With VOL4::SLAVES OF FEAR, the trio made the heaviest, most genre-obliterating album of their career. They’ve documented just how frightening it feels to be alive right now. Combining the hedonistic and haunting sounds that each artist is known for to captivating effect, it’s a guttural and gorgeous kaleidoscope of dark electronic convulsions and searing melodies that will quite simply enrapture you.
